Purpose (Why minister to kids?)

• We exist to join and guide families on a journey of deepening their relationship with Jesus by worshiping Him, serving His church, connecting together, and inviting others along the way.

Mission (How do we minister to kids?)

• Our Mission is to equip parents and volunteers to reach and teach children by living a life of worship, serving the church in an area of children’s ministry, connecting with other parents and volunteers, and inviting their community to church and, in God’s timing, a saving relationship with Him.

Vision (What’s the result of ministering to kids?)

• We want an ever-growing number of children to visit our church, finding a place where they feel loved, come to know Christ, and desire to worship Him. We want parents to serve in Children’s Ministry so that they may be encouraged and impacted by their child’s continuing spiritual growth, so much so that their excitement for Jesus working in and through His church rubs off on their children. We want parents to look forward to connecting with other parents and volunteers of Children’s Ministry to be refreshed, enlightened, and prepared to disciple their children. We want parents and children to want to invite their friends and family to Evangel Temple’s Children’s Ministry because it is a safe, fun,and joyful place where the Gospel is taught and Jesus is glorified.
