JR. Kids (3-5)

Your pre-schooler will not want to go home after he or she has walked into Evangel Temple’s “pods”. This area is to the left of the Welcome Center, and is completely decorated and designed for pre-schoolers thanks to the DLC pre-school who use this area during the week. On Sunday morning, your child will get to experience two different programs.

At 9:00am, we have pre-school Sunday School classes which are in separate rooms–one for 3 year olds and one for 4 year olds–to ensure that your child gets individual attention that will help him or her build a solid foundation of Christian Education.

At 10:30am, JR. Kids begins. This is a service for both 3 and 4 year olds.  They’ll start their morning program off with a snack and playtime to get to know their buddies and work on their social skills. Then, they’ll sing songs, engage in a Bible story, and work on a craft that they can take home to remind them of the day’s lesson. You won’t want to miss a single service! As a parent, you will be given resources that will guide you along with what your child is learning. Under the “I’m a Parent” link, click on the “Previous Sunday” to find out what your child learned last Sunday to help you reinforce what your child has learned, or click on the “Upcoming Sunday” link to get an idea of what your child will be learning this week.
