Welcome to the ET Kids blog! Evangel Temple Kids is the Children’s Ministry of Evangel Temple, and is the title that encompasses all ministries for children ages birth-5th grade. We have three age groups – ET Wees (0-2), JR. Kids (3-4), and ET Kids (K-5th) that have their own Sunday morning services in different locations around the church.

Melia Jesch is the Pastor of Children’s Ministry at ET. She oversees the children’s Sunday morning and Wednesday evening programs, as well as coordinating family special events. She and her husband, Isaiah, have over seven years of experience in children’s Christian education, and Melia will graduate from Central Bible College in Springfield, MO in December of 2012 with a B.A. in Children’s Ministry.

Melia’s desire is to see Moms and Dads live out their faith in such a way that influences their children, and their children’s children (Deut. 4:9). Although she’s a bit OCD, loves to organize, and enjoys quiet time and solitude, Melia loves nothing more than to be in the presence of God’s little ones (even if it means getting a little messy).
